Hello I'm back :D

Haha waaaaaa 1.5 months since the last entry..so yes the A's have ended WOOHOOOOOOOOOO! =D =D =D =D =D Just transferred photos from the camera to the com! :D Was thinking it's really kind of boring now (maybe cause I was out for so long yesterday..so it feels funny now? Haha) but then I thought..thank God..today's a day for rest :D QT last night taught me you can be busy but never in a hurry. God rested on the 7th day :D Busy but never in a hurry. I like :D

Hmmm so many things I can talk about!! Haha a multitude of activities planned out..so excited OMGOSH hahaha I wrote a list the other time..haha it's beside the com now! Waaaa these 8 months are gonna be awesome..today I'm gonna let that after A's feeling sink in :D Thank You Daddy..for being with me and running the A levels race with me throughout this period.. :D:D:D Through all the times I doubted..all the times you reassured me..all the times I was so stressed up I couldn't think straight..but You never let me go..thank You :D:D I LOVE YOU!! Hahaha I'm holding on to Your promise..since You said it will be done, I don't want to think about it anymore! Woohoo haha :D

Haha got to plan a day to visit the library and then devour all the books I've been wanting to read for so long!! I think this post is going to sound incoherent (and it's gonna be long!! Haha kudos to whoever actually reads this to the end!) cause the next thing I'm gonna say is..I'm listening to songs now :D And this feels so relaxing :D:D Hmm looking back..so many things have happened..Never-say-die November came and went :D Seriously, 2010 has been such an amazing year..thank God :D I think I learnt a lot..CHAMPION! =D Yesterday was really a celebration of all sorts..hahaha sang at Kbox again after..3 years?? Hahaha yea I think I'm mad cause I don't have a good voice but I love to sing hahaha crazy people are the best people in the world yay :D I think i sang my heart out yesterday lol madness never thought I'll sing like that when so many people are listening..but it goes to show I was comfortable hahaha thank God for all the fun I had :D and thank God my friends tolerated my madness HAHAHA CT even join me.."if you can't beat them, join them" HAHAHA cannot beat my insanity! Hmm yes I enjoyed yesterday :D Super tired but happy! :D

Oh yea thank God it's Friday!! :D It's raining now..yay cooling :D yay I'm home :D yay I'm alive :D lol yay I'm PMSing but it's gonna be over soon :D yay I think my friends are so cool..I have awesome friends V(^.^)V yay I have the awesomest Daddy God who loves me unconditionally and at all times :D yay I'm lovin' it :D I have the life!! Hhahaha blessed..really. Makes me wanna share what I have with those who need it..Those kids in Cambodia, India, Afghanistan, Somalia..really wanna do something for them..Haha God will I get the chance to? :) I keep the newspaper pull out beside my com..Somalia somalia somalia..I still remember how I felt when I read about the plight of the kids..so infuriated..I'm going to quote what I read..

The use of child soldiers is rising in Somalia, where schools are used as recruitment centres." LIKE WHAT?? And in Afghanistan, child labour is a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR problem..I sometimes use the fact that the children there are busy carrying heavy loads, are being exposed to excessive heat, cold and noise to slap myself awake when I feel lazy..haha why? Because there's no time to feel that way!! In other countries..THEY HAVE NO CHOICE!! They have no time to feel dysania (new word I just learnt today from tumblr..it means "the state of finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning")!! Doesn't the reality slap you hard in the face sometimes? Haha "there they are working their guts off and some don't even get paid for it and here you are thinking about all these rubbish and wasting your time??" Haha random but..it's amazing how God coordinates everything in this world..best organiser ever, no doubt :D He takes care of the hardworker, He takes care of the slacker..He takes care of everyone..with all their differing feelings and thoughts and personalities..haha okay what a lot of thoughts in this entry! :D

God, it's funny how You turn things around..the sudden outburst last night..thinking..what about me? Didn't feel Your love like I used to..Haha and then I didn't want to do QT..felt so guilty when I woke up..haha felt like such a letdown..like how could my heart change so quickly..

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce.

She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into our bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that everyday for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door every morning.. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Dew about my wife’s divorce conditions.. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully..

My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly;
it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Helloooooo :D It's been more than a month! Haha :) Thank God for everything! Got the answer to my question :D Tried to upload photos just now but FB kept crashing on me..haha okay never mind will try again later :)

SO! Feeling tired after a long day out but it was really enjoyable :D:D:D Competing to see who can throw the pillows back into the basket from the furthest distance (haha this one was super short but it was fun :D), doing seriously dumb things in the showrooms (OMGOSH TOILET BOWL PHOTO HAHA) AND RUNNING UP THE DOWN ESCALATOR FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE HAHAHAHA SUPER EXHILARATING :DDDDDDDD YOU SHOULD TRY IT TOO! The escalators at T3 are long and aren't the steps type so you won't get hurt that easily haha :D Was about to reach the top when this guy on another escalator shouted at us and told us not to do that. HAHAHA yea I know it's crazy but you don't always get to do it!

Talking about funny things that happened to us, dreaming about the future, unsuccessful jumpshots, eating good food together, taking 71 photos although the camera's battery was low (HOW COOL IS THAT! THANK GOD FOR MAKING THE BATTERY LAST! HAHA) and laughing like crazy at anything and everything. Haha thanks for your "I love you" before I left :D I know I said "Yup yup" but I really wanted to say "I love you too" hahaha sorry I think I was too tired :) These words have been said many times before but you just never get tired of saying them. Having someone willing to do the dumbest things with you is one of the best things in life..I LOVE YOU FRIEND! =D

Haha He really performs miracles..from 0 to 2 then finally 7 pull-ups yesterday..haha those who know how afraid I was of pull-ups - my nemesis in NAPFA - will know it's really a miracle :D:D And I hit a personal best for standing broad jump - 179cm! Haha okay to me it's another miracle =D God is awesomest! Though I didn't run as quickly during the shuttle run and do as many sit-ups as I did during the 1st test, I'm really grateful that I passed :D Not sure if I'll be getting a silver or bronze but never mind cause to me it's gold HAHA so corny XD So anyway YAY THANK GOD NO MORE NAPFA FOR REAL, FOREVERRRRRR!! =D

Hmm

I just remembered something..when you were feeling down, I told you that you shouldn't worry so much about it cause it's not worth it.and that no one should take away your right to live life to the fullest..and that I'll be there if you need me..and yea it still holds true. I mean what I say..and now I need to tell myself what I've been telling people..hahaha :)

1%..it just blows me away to know that God can do so much with so little..haha God can even make something from nothing! :) Yea if you feel small today..remember that God can use you to do big things :D Haha humans are forgetful creatures..got to keep reminding yourself! :)

Today was the 1st time in a long while I went back to Speedlight for service..went to main service the past few weeks and woohoo today's P&W session was so God-filled :D:D I particularly love this part of one of the songs we sang today :D

Hello world!

Sorry for the lack of updates for almost a month! It's been an..eventful month I'd say haha..Botanic Gardens (! finally, the day the proposal got realised :) Had fun with the J1s! :)), got sick (dumb influenza..missed a lotttt of lessons!), got better, went visiting, collected hongbaos =D, felt like a zombie yesterday..ahh okay photos! :):)

Mummy and I :D Yea I look quite pale..it's the after-effects of flu! Haha

Shirleen and I..I know right crazy outfit..haha once in a while ma! =D

Anyway Blogger sent me an email telling me that their FTP service will be discontinued soon..which means I will have to change my blog URL..yup :) Using the netbook now..Jian Wei's computer doesn't detect the mouse anymore and my main com..ah well let's just say it's old and not very functional anymore hahaha but it's okay thank God I still have this laptop! :):)

I think I'm cutting my hair soon..been nagged at by quite a few people already haha okay okay I'm granting your wish soon! Probably this weekend..hmm..and thank God today's a public holiday! Yayyyy :D Oh yea I finished reading Chicken Soup for the teenage soul today =D It's a nice compilation of inspiring stories..I think it's the 1st "Chicken Soup for the soul" I've finished! Never had a chance to complete a book in that series cause I was..too busy? Haha yea..I still have "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "The Edge of the Sky" (both were given) to read..uh huh but since they aren't library books I can take my time to read them.. :D

Okay what else..I packed my bed today! Haha and there have been a lot of old HK shows airing these few days..so yea watched with family..and I've been logging to the PS website everyday to check the photos haha crazy webmistress huh..but really, it's been a happening place recently with the J1s' additions :D And..I need to do homework! God, help me!

Monday - 1st day of school. "I'm a J2!" Haha wow yay! :D Survived the whole day w/o sleeping the night before with God's strength. Yea you didn't read that sentence wrongly. Plus there was afternoon PE. Which means I had to run. Haha and the school day ended at 4.15..don't remember what time I reached home..had to study for the chem test though I was tired..haha thank God for the sustainment! GOD IS AWESOME! =D Oh yea met the new GP and Economics tutors..MrH, our new econs tutor, said he has been in the teaching profession for decades! Wowwww..I admire his passion for teaching..but I'm not intending to teach for so long..ahaha that's another topic so..let's get on to what happened on Tuesday! :)

Tuesday - Note to self: There's only P2O3, no P(OH)5. Hahaha. Oh MsL ended Mass Civics with a video of a bird in a box..it was cool! Haha =D

Wednesday - Morning PE, Open House 2010. Think it was close to 6 when I reached home..Was really tired hahaa..kind of danced to whatever music I heard during the event to keep myself awake haha! :)

Thursday - Met my new Chemistry tutor..XP said she really looks her her aunt..hahaa :) Oh during GP lecture..haha tres interesting! Philosophy..mhmm and yes that teacher is charismatic haha :D Thank God school ended early! =D=D Had lunch in school and set off to AMK hub with SJ, XP & MY to get my ears pierced! Haha oh the unforgettable moment. I didn't include this in my previous entry so I'm going to say it here..haha as MY put it rather amusingly, "You'll never forget this birthday present cause we gave you 2 holes on your earlobes" LOL!!

Friday - Haha very few actually asked about the ear studs! :)

Saturday - Today! =D Had CCA meeting at 9 in school..hmm there are a lot of things to be done! Haha and after that we sat through a talk conducted by the President of NPSS..Whooooo the photos..they were amazing..but the tools you need to capture such sharpness in your subjects..sigh the price is really the deterrent! Maybe if my future husband is rich enough I'll be able to buy all those lenses, filters etc etc hahaa yea just to capture the beauty of God's creation..again I say, amazing! :D:D Had snacks afterwards, thanks to MsG! =D

Hmm came back, played with Shirleen, listened to disc 1 of the "Light the way" CDs! Yay! Finally found time to listen to the songs :D:D Then Mummy, Shirleen and I went out for CNY shopping..but Shirleen wasn't at her best behaviour (she was tired) so no one was in the mood for shopping..haha never mind only my clothes haven't been bought..oh and Mummy passed me the pins she bought! YAY no more "only-pin-on-one-side"! Not the kind I wanted haha but never mind I'll use them anyway =D Oh although I didn't buy anything, I did borrow a book which I've finished reading..you can check it out if you like! "When Stars Fall" by "Lissa Johnson". =D I loved reading it! And now here I am typing..and listening to disc 2 of the concert CDs! =D I just found out that the videos are available on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/ronytanlightev) Cool right! :D
