I SURVIVED THE WEEK WHEEHOO. ECONS HOMEWORK WASN'T COLLECTED TODAY. GOD IS SO GOOD WOOHOO. AND I LEARNT QUITE A BIT WHILE DOING THE CARPARK DUTY. Hahaha.

Thought I was doing ushering work, as in ushering people, at first but when the guy who briefed us really briefly (pun intended hahaha) told us that we would be "ushering cars". LOL. He said, "Its ushering, its just that the subjects are bigger now" LOL. Anyway it was fun because I sort of ushered people too :D:D And everyone returned my smile! Hahaha it felt really good seeing so many smiles =D=D

So onto the lessons learnt and observations..
1. That car ushers/traffic wardens can move while ushering..I always had the impression that they only stand at one spot and use their hands to direct the vehicles..but one teacher was like telling me I should walk around because I needed to get the people to turn into the bend haha :D

2. I learnt how to direct traffic professionally! Hahaha the hand movements and all. There's an art to it! =D Its cool learning things on the job :D

3. JC1 parents come earlier than JC2 parents! Hahaha..maybe it doesn't imply anything but still..its interesting to note =D So we finished our duty very early! Started at about 4plus and ended minutes before 6. That's an hour earlier than the expected! Cause it was supposed to be from 4-7 so we get 3 hours of CIP..hopefully that still holds true for us! :D

4. She can be really nice. =D Kept telling us to take breaks and go up to the hall to have our dinner..initially it was rather awkward cause we didn't feel good about taking the food that weren't meant for us..but she insisted on it hahaah and yup the food was not bad at all =D=D

My position kept changing during my duty..cause the cars were coming in fast and slots were filled up very quickly..so I actually moved across the school! From the carpark beside the parade square to the one behind the security guardhouse..haha..=D

After dinner, had an impromptu meeting with her..which was, thank God, quite good =D
